This is a copy of the email I received from our Agency's case manager. We are still trusting and praising the Lord whether we hear today or whether we get the results we want today or not. God's grace is sufficient for us and in Christ we are sustained. Please continue to pray. We are so thankful for your prayers for our family.

Before I leave for lunch I just wanted you to know we still do not have news on the court hearings today. We've tried to call but the connection is bad and has made it unable to hear. It appears we will have to wait until tomorrow to hear any news of today's court hearings by phone at least. This is really not unusual...not what we want but it does happen.
We will continue to try today via e-mail.

WHY ETHIOPIA? WHY NOT ETHIOPIA?
Our first reason is God called us to go
There are approx. 4.6 million orphans due to AIDS and poverty
One in six children die before they turn 5
One in ten children die before they turn 1
Millions still die of starvation each year
Half the children in Ethiopia will never have an opportunity to attend school
Some parts still practice female circumcision
82% of the population survives on less than 1 dollar a day
Only 1/4 of the entire population has access to safe drinking water
Ethiopia’s doctor to children ratio is 1 to 24,000
Children and family are honored above all else threre
1 in 3 people are HIV+ , the average life expectency is between 37-42.
If I lived in Ethiopia, I may have died this year!
